FourCast is a daily weather briefing service for dog owners. We provide personalized weather alerts based on your dog's breed, size, and location, including:
- Daily walk window recommendations based on pavement temperature
- Paw safety and pavement burn risk alerts
- Pollen, mold, and allergy alerts
- Storm and thunder pre-alerts
- Air quality index warnings
- Breed-specific weather safety thresholds
3. Account Registration
To use FourCast, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use FourCast.
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
Free Tier
The free tier provides daily weather briefings for one dog at one location. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
Pro Plan
- Billed monthly at $1/month
- Automatically renewed unless canceled
- Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
Charitable Giving
10% of all paid subscription revenue is donated to dog rescue and shelter organizations.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
5. Important Disclaimer
FourCast is an informational tool and does not replace professional veterinary advice. Weather conditions can change rapidly, and our alerts are based on forecasted data that may not be perfectly accurate. Always use your own judgment when deciding whether conditions are safe for your dog. In case of emergency, contact your veterinarian.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to access unauthorized areas of our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Use automated means to scrape or harvest data from our service
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free tiers
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of FourCast (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF WEATHER DATA, FORECASTS, OR SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS. WEATHER CONDITIONS CAN CHANGE RAPIDLY AND OUR SERVICE SHOULD NOT BE YOUR SOLE SOURCE OF SAFETY INFORMATION FOR YOUR PET.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOURCAST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY INJURY OR HARM TO PETS BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY OUR SERVICE.
